Supro is one of the original rock & roll music brands. First manufactured in Chicago from 1935 to 1968, Supro amplifiers and guitars are featured on landmark recordings by iconic artists such as Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and David Bowie. Revived in 2014, Supro now offers a curated range of vintage-inspired tube amps and analog pedals that capture the legendary Supro sound.
Preserved in time as some of the finest early amplifiers ever made, Supro amps are Class A, all-tube rock machines. Offering warm break-up, analog feature sets, and Art Deco stylings inspired by 1950s Chicago, the original Supro amplifiers carved out a place in rock & roll history.
Faithfully restoring key elements from the original Supro amplifiers, today’s Supro amps are fortified with modern technology and professional-grade components from the biggest names in electronics, including custom speakers and features.
In 2020, Supro was acquired by Bond Audio, parent company of D’Angelico Guitars and Pigtronix. Sharing joined research and design forces as well as international distribution, Supro has entered a new era. Explore our partners below.
